  • Coconut Flour: Gluten-free and adds a healthy fiber boost.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked sweet potato, mashed

  • 1/2 cup canned salmon, drained

  • 1/4 cup coconut flour

  • 1 egg

  • 1 tablespoon flaxseed meal (optional)

  • 1 tablespoon parsley, finely chopped (for freshness)

  • Coconut oil (for greasing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a baking sheet with coconut oil.

  2. Prepare Sweet Potato: Cook a sweet potato until soft. Mash it and let it cool.

  3. Combine Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed sweet potato, drained salmon, coconut flour, egg, flaxseed meal (if using), and chopped parsley. Mix until well combined.

  4. Form Dough: The consistency should be firm enough to form a dough. If it's too sticky, add a bit more coconut flour.

  5. Shape the Treats: Roll the dough into small balls or use cookie cutters to create fun shapes.

  6. Bake: Place the treats on the greased baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the edges turn golden brown.

  7. Cool: Allow the treats to cool completely on a wire rack.

  8. Serve: Once cooled, present these brain-boosting bites to your pup! Store any leftovers in an airtight container.
